Frequently Asked Questions

Who does the EAA apply to?
All companies selling goods or services online in the EU: e-commerce, banks, telecom, transport, e-books, and micro-enterprises with more than 10 employees.
What are the penalties for EAA non-compliance?
Each EU country sets its own penalties. For example, Germany — up to €100,000, France — up to €50,000 per violation. Sales bans are also possible.
Is InclusiveWeb enough for EAA compliance?
InclusiveWeb covers WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA technical requirements. For full EAA compliance, you also need: an accessibility statement, feedback mechanism, and staff training.
Is there a transition period for EAA?
For new products — effective from June 28, 2025. For existing products, transition period until June 28, 2030. We recommend starting preparation now.
