Go beyond compliance
Technical WCAG compliance ≠ comfortable for everyone. Older users need bigger fonts, people with dyslexia need Lexend Deca, migraine sufferers need monochrome. Panel gives every visitor personal settings on top of an already-accessible site.
Floor and ceiling
Compliance is the floor — what the site must have to not break the law. Inclusion is the ceiling — how each visitor actually uses the site. Audit and Autofix build the floor. Panel raises the ceiling.
WCAG 2.2 AA + EAA 2025 require accessible content. Audit and Autofix cover the technical side of these requirements — with fixes on top of the page, without changing your code.
Real accessibility = users choosing their own font, contrast, pace. Panel does this — on top of an already-fixed site, not instead of the fix.
What the panel covers under WCAG — and what it does not
Criterion numbers, and an honest "no" where the panel does not help.
1.4.2 Audio Control
Mutes video and audio, including YouTube and Vimeo embeds.
2.2.2 Pause, Stop, Hide
Stops CSS and JS animations, autoplaying video, animated GIFs.
1.4.1 Use of Color
Underlines every link, including those inside buttons and menus — W3C technique G182. Colour coding in charts and status labels is not fixed.
2.4.1 Bypass Blocks
The Keyboard access mode adds a real “Skip to main content” link first in the Tab order. The navigator by headings and sections remains a second route.
1.4.4 Resize Text
Font to 250%, page zoom to 300% — W3C technique G178.
2.5.8 Target Size (Minimum)
Buttons, links and fields get at least 24×24 CSS pixels. A WCAG 2.2 criterion.
1.4.3 Contrast
Measures every text/background pair and repairs all that fail 4.5:1. Turns off if you picked your own text colour.
2.4.11 Focus Not Obscured (Minimum)
The same mode: scroll padding for the panel button and a nudge whenever the focused element lands under the site's sticky header or our button. A WCAG 2.2 criterion.
2.3.3 Animation from Interactions
Pauses CSS animations, CSS transitions and Web Animations.
2.3.2 Three Flashes
Stops animation entirely — no “small area” exception — and can hide video and GIFs.
2.4.13 Focus Appearance
The “strong” level: a solid 4 px outline with a white hairline — 3:1 contrast on both light and dark backgrounds.
1.4.8 Visual Presentation
The Readable text mode: lines of at most 80 characters, line height from 1.5, paragraph spacing 1.5× that, no justified text. Text, heading and background colours are the visitor's choice.
1.4.6 Contrast (Enhanced)
The Enhanced contrast mode: measures every text/background pair and repairs it to 7:1 (4.5:1 for large text).
Applies only while a visitor has the tool turned on, within their session — it does not make the site itself conformant.
2.4.7 Focus Visible
An outline on the focused element, in three thicknesses.
1.4.12 Text Spacing
Line spacing from 1.5, plus letter, word and paragraph spacing.
2.3.1 Three Flashes
The Epilepsy profile stops flashing.
2.4.5 Multiple Ways
The navigator by headings, links and sections is a second way to find content. The site's own ways (search, sitemap) remain its job.
3.2.6 Consistent Help
The feedback form sits in the same place in the panel on every page. Holds only while the widget is shown on every page of the site.
4.1.2 Name, Role, Value
The Screen-reader names mode: the author's title or an SVG icon's title is moved into aria-label where the element has no other name. Roles, states and invented names — no.
3.3.2 Labels or Instructions
The same mode: a field that has only a placeholder gets it as aria-label. Real labels, instructions and input formats remain the site's job.

None count towards any criterion. That is the ceiling: a human need the standard does not describe.
Honest about the limits
The panel cannot reach frame-by-frame JS animation or frames from other origins. And above all: conformance is a property of the page you serve to everyone, so no widget makes a site conformant on its own.

Isn’t this just another overlay?
Technically yes — it is a widget on top of the page. The difference is not in how it works but in what we claim: we do not sell it as a substitute for fixing the code, and we do not claim conformance from it. The code is fixed by Autofix, as a separate layer, with your approval of each group of changes.
Does the panel satisfy WCAG and the European Accessibility Act?
Partly. The legal requirement applies to the site itself: accessible code and content. The panel gives the visitor mechanisms that the standard explicitly asks for in specific criteria — control over auto-playing audio, stopping moving content, choosing colours and spacing. But captions, form logic, contrast in the design and custom components are outside its reach. Audit shows exactly what fails, Autofix automates part of the remediation, and your team does the rest.
Why don’t you say "WCAG compliance in one click"?
Because it is not true, and such claims are already being penalised. In April 2025 the US Federal Trade Commission issued a $1M order against an overlay widget vendor over claims that its product made websites WCAG compliant. Instead we state which layer covers what, and give you a report you can hand to an auditor.
Will the panel affect my site's speed?
No. The async loader weighs ~25 KB gzip and doesn't block page load. The panel itself (~117 KB gzip) is lazy-loaded in an iframe only when the user opens it. Iframe isolation ensures panel styles don't conflict with your site.
Are visitor settings saved?
Yes. All chosen settings are saved in the visitor's browser (localStorage). On the next visit, the site immediately adapts to their needs.
Is mobile supported?
Yes. The panel has a responsive interface optimized for smartphones and tablets. All tools are available on any device.
Can I choose which tools to show?
Yes. In the dashboard, you can enable or disable any tool and profile. Settings update without changing code on your site.
How to install on WordPress or Shopify?
For WordPress — paste the code in the footer via Customizer or any script insertion plugin. For Shopify — add to theme.liquid. Google Tag Manager is also supported.
